Bonfire of the Vanderbilts book review.

Dear reader I just finished reading “Bonfire of the Vanderbilts” by Gerard Everett Jones. I was blessed enough to be given a free paperback copy of this book from the author in person at the Los Angeles Festival of books event this year(He was extremely kind to me) in exchange for my honest review of the book which is as follows:

I want to start by saying that I am not an art person so I personally  don’t understand the “scandal” behind the painting however once I got into the storylines of the characters I was interested in the book more.

I personally enjoyed the middle to last half of the book the best. Overall I personally rate this book a 7/10. I also didn’t see some of the twists in the story coming at all. Happy reading dear reader ☺.

Click here to see a video by the author talking more the painting.

PS. This opportunity and others like it are made possible in large part because of you dear readers with all of your likes, comments, views, and follows on this blog thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you want me to do a book review for your book please email  me at darkrose04@gmail.com.
