Note to reader: The following post is ONLY about me talking about how I personally feel about the “Behind the Black Horizon” episode of “The Originals” if you haven’t already seen up to this episode in season #3 please don’t keep reading this post because it will contain spoilers.

Dear reader I just finished watching “Behind the Black Horizon” episode #17 of season #3 of “The Originals”.

I really feel like this episode could be also called “The first time death visits an Original”.

I feel personally that the death of Finn will force the rest of the originals to truly appreciate their lives for the first time especially since they have just seen a member of their family with vampire powers die permanently for the first time and maybe not the last.

I can’t wait to see how this event effects their respective relationships with themselves as a family and with other people.

Also the storyline of “Taking down the ancestors” is very interesting to me.
