Oppression Book Review.

Dear reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading “Oppression” book #1 in the “Children of the Gods” series by Jessica Therrien. Dear reader I bought the whole entire 3 book trilogy from the author in person at the Los Angeles festival of books event this year she was very nice  and autographed all 3 of the books for me, having said all of that here’s my honest review of the book:

I personally think that this book is a cross between “The house of night” series by P.C. Cast and  the “PercyJackson” series by Rick Riordan. To be completely honest I didn’t really find the main character to be as belivable/realistic as the majority of the other characters. I am going to read book two in the series to see if things get any easier to understand. I don’t normally do this in my reviews however I am not going to rate this book, I am going to read/finish book #2 in the trilogy and then afterwards rate that book in a separate post because I personally feel that because of the way this book ended it can’t be rated fully/completely without first reading the second book, depending on my feelings on book two I might rate the trilogy as a whole. Happy reading dear reader ☺.
