Dear  reader I can’t sleep so I finished reading  “The Uprising” book #2 in the “Children of the Gods” series by Jessica Therrien. I was blessed enough to receive this book along with all of the other books in the trilogy when I met the author at the Los Angeles festival of books event this year, she was very nice(I paid for the books myself) my personal  review of the book is as  follows:

I personally didn’t enjoy this book as much as I did the first book in the trilogy(My personal review of “Oppression” the first book in the trilogy. ), I found it to change pace from about the middle of the book on and the story just lost my interest, I think it would be a better movie than a book, I am going to read the last book in the trilogy just to see how it all ends. I have decided to rate this trilogy as a whole because I personally feel that they don’t really stand on their own at all. Happy reading dear reader ☺.
