Dear reader I just finished reading “The Reburialists” by J. C. Nelson. Dear reader I bought this book because I am a fan of the “Grimm Agency” series by the same author and I wanted to see if I would like this book as well. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Dear reader I want to start by saying that I believe that if you like the movie “The Mummy” you’re going to enjoy this book as well, I also think that the movie will give you a better framework for understanding how the world of this book is set up.

I still personally feel that there was a bit of “instant love” between the two main characters, in the sense that in my personal opinion it was enforced/implied that they were going to end up being together no matter what, which I found a little annoying.

A concept that I did find interesting/unique was how “Grace” was a skeptic about magic even though she was in a world where magical stuff was much all around her.

I did pretty much guess a few plot points earlier on however I still found the story to be interesting, I don’t know if this book will become a series or not if it does I would be open to seeing the characters again. Overall I personally rate this book a 6/10. Happy reading dear reader ☺.
