Dear reader I just finished reading “Queen of The Night” by Alexander Chee. I bought the book from the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting, my personal review of the book is as follows:

This might sound strange to say however I believe that sometimes a reader finds a book for a reason. I feel like I found this book to help me with getting over the fact that my divorce is now finalized.

I related to the main character and her relationship with the tenor, feeling stuck and a man who is more in love with his idea of you than who you actually are. I also related to feeling “stuck in someone’s else’s story” and no matter how much you try to get free fate seems to pull you back to certain places and people.

Overall I personally rate this book a 8/10. Happy reading dear reader ?.
