Dear reader I just finished reading “Three Dark Crowns” by Kendare Blake. I was able to barrow a hardcover copy of it from a friend of mine. My personal review of the book is as follows:
I want to start this review off by saying that I didn’t focus on/remember most of the side characters because there are so many, I had a hard enough time keeping the Queens straight. Even with all of that I was able to read it relatively quickly without having to start and stop as many times as I normally do(I jump into and out of a few different books so that I don’t get too board with a book and to have reviews ready to go for the most part).
I really don’t know what to say about how I feel about things in the story arc without giving away plot points, I personally enjoyed the “Poison” Queen the best.
This is one of the first stories that I’ve read in a while in which I felt interested in the premise of the story arc/the ideas and concepts whilst at the same time (for the most part) not really caring about the characters, I guess I felt like I got lost in the world of the story so I kept wanting to see/know more about it and the characters felt(for the most part) like an interesting distraction.
I definitely got “Romeo and Juliet” vibes from the Book towards the end, all I can say about the ending of book is WTF.
Overall I personally rate this book a 3 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader ?. Please like and share if you like this review doing so helps me to get considered for future books ♡.
