Dear reader I just finished reading “The Crown of Embers” book number two in the “Fire and Thorns” trilogy by Rae Carson. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I wanted to see what happens next with the characters. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I personally feel like certain aspects of the romance(I can’t really explain more specifically because they are tied in with major plot points) really pulled me from the main storyline because I was trying to figure out what was going on between them (I felt like yelling “pick a side already”).

To the point where I’m very confused about what is happening with the main storyline, the ending confused me even more. I personally rate this book a 3 and half out of 10.
