Dear reader I just finished reading “The Diabolic” book number one in “The Diabolic” series by S. J. Kincaid. I picked a hardcover copy of the book from Www.bookoutlet.com (I paid for it myself). My personal review of the book is as follows:

For me personally the way in which mythology/science/a futuristic time frame was mashed together(trying to phrase it in a way that doesn’t give away any spoilers) didn’t make sense to me and it really pulled me out of the story I kept reading because the main character was interesting.

After the plot twist that happens around the middle of the book I personally felt that the majority of the characters choices especially towards the end didn’t fit with her early character arc.

I do think that if you like human/hybrid/robot(I might be phrasing it wrong) characters you might want to check out the book. Overall I personally rate this book a 5 out of 10. Happy reading dear 😊.
