Dear reader I just finished reading “Hocus Pocus and the All-New Sequel: by A. W. Jantha. I ordered a hardcover edition of the book from BarnesandNoble.com(I paid for it myself) because I love the movie and I had to know what happens next. My personal review of the book is as follows:
The book is split into two parts the first half of book has the entire story of the movie(which is cool in my personal opinion in case anyone hasn’t seen the movie or doesn’t remember parts of it).
The second half of the book starts 25 years after the events of the movie with the daughter of the main characters. I don’t want to spoil too much about what happens, I do think that it was fun to see all of the jokes about technology courtesy of the Sanderson sisters and the fact that(in my personal opinion) it was used within the framework of the storyline in a way that made sense but didn’t feel over the top.
The love story element was very sweet and well done. I do wish that some of the newer characters could’ve been a bit more fleshed out. Overall I personally rate this book an 8 out of 10. I definitely highly recommended checking it out if you’re a fan of the movie. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
