I am writing this review while I watch the episode on my DVR so that I can pause and add my thoughts as needed.

This review is my personal thoughts of the episode I am not a professional writer or reviewer just a fan doing this for fun. Disclaimer I am biased to the show a bit due to the fact that I am already a fan of the show’s host Alton Brown.

I also want to say that I am sorry that I am behind on the episodes I have them all saved on my DVR so I will be posting them as fast as I am able to.

Chefs for this episode are:

Chef Ashe(Shows spelling not mine), Chef McNutt(shows spelling not mine), Chef Brian, and Chef Dominique.

First round dish is:

Homemade Ravioli made in 30 minutes.

First round Auction:

1st item up for auction is:

The only pasta maker and rolling pin in the kitchen(for this round), and really high grade flour. I think the use of this item explains its self.

Winner of this auction is:

Chef Ashe with a winning bid of $8,100.

2nd item up for auction is:

Tasting spoons, the winner of this item will be the only Chef who will be able to taste their food in this round.

I think that this is a pretty evil trick dear reader: ).

Winner of this item is:

Chef Brian wins with a bid $6,600.

3rd item up for auction is:

A bag of snack food/junk food items. The winner of this item forces one of their opponents to use at least  one of the items in the bag for their ravioli filling.

The winner of this item is:

Chef Dominique with a winning bid of $9,300. She gives the bag to Chef Brian.

Dear reader Chef Ashe doesn’t know how to use the pasta maker that he had the winning bid on and he doesn’t remember that he has a rolling pin either.

Suprise auction item(during the cooking time) is:

The exclusive right to cook their pasta in boiling water. I think the use of this item explains it’s self.

Wining bidder is:

Chef Dominique with a winning bid of $7,700.

Note to reader the show has one judge for all 3 rounds of competition and the judge doesn’t see and can’t know about any cutthroat things that happen to a chef.

Chef Ashe gets eliminated for his over use of chilli sauce.

2nd round dish is:

A hamburger with a side dish cooked in 30 minutes.

2nd round Auction.

1st item up for auction is:

A meat grinder, the only one in the Kitchen for this round.  The winning bid has exclusive use of the meat grinder for this round.

Winning bidder is:

Chef McNutt with a winning bid of 12,900.

2nd item up for auction is:

A camp stove, The winner of this item forces 1 of their opponents to do all of their cooking for this round on it.

Winning bidder is:

Chef Brian with a winning bid of $7,000. He gives the camp stove to Chef Charles.

3rd item up for auction is:

Switching the baskets of two of their opponents forcing them to work with the ingredients in which ever basket they get.

Winning bidder is:

Chef Brian with a winning bid of $4,200. Chef McNutt has Chef Dominique’s basket and Chef Dominique has Chef McNutt’s basket.

Suprise auction item(During the cooking time) :

The right to take an item away from one of your opponents.

Winning bidder is:

Chef McNutt with a winning bid of $2,200. She takes the Hawaiian buns from Chef Brian.

Chef Brian had the judge’s favorite burger and Chef McNutt gets eliminated.

Finale round for this episode the auctions for this round will take place during the cooking time. The dish for this round is:

Fried Chicken Dinner.

First Item up for auction this round is:

Breakfast cereal. The winner of this auction will source their remaining opponent to use breakfast cereal in their dish.

Winning bidder is:

Chef Chef Brian for a winning bid of $1,900.

Last item up for auction this episode is:

Giblets. The winning bidder can either use them in their dish or force them on their opponent.

Winning bidder is:

Chef Brian with a winning bid of $500. Chef Dominique didn’t bid at all.

The winner of this episode is:

Chef Brian wins $4,800. He definitely played the “Cutthroat” game dear reader:).
