Dear reader I couldn’t sleep yet again so I finished reading “Born of Illusion” book #1 in the “Born of Illusion” trilogy by Teri Brown. My personal review of the book is as follows:
Dear reader I could definitely relate a bit to the relationship between “Anna” and her mother.
I personally feel like the concept of the book is good/interesting, however the execution felt a bit rushed and a few of the plot threads felt tangled.
Spoilers ahead don’t read if you haven’t finished reading the book yet.
I am also unsure why Anna after spending so much time with her mother and in my opinion being her parent/almost losing her be so ready to just leave her mother and go to another country.
Like “Ok, Your getting married now so I guess I can leave you alone now.” I guess it makes sense but it still feels a bit off to me.
I am going to read the next book in the series to see if it gets any better.
Over all I personally rate this book a 5/10. Happy reading dear reader:).
