Sometimes I feel like my fingers are like the claw game.

Note to reader: The following post is just me talking about my own personal experiences with my disability. Every person with a disability handles it differently, I am only speaking for myself. I am disabled because I have CP(Cerebral Palsy).

Dear reader I am NOT sharing this to make anyone feel sorry for me I have just had a lot of people ask me about what I mean when I say that sometimes my body doesn’t listen to me and I thought this analogy might help you understand as well dear reader in case you’re curious as well:

Have you ever played the claw game in the lobby of a move theatre? (The one where you try to get a stuffed toy or something out of the machine using a mechanical claw to try to grab the object.) Do you ever get frustrated when the claw doesn’t grab the object the right way or worse when you’ve grabbed onto whatever you want but it lets go just before you reach the slot to drop your prize so you can get it out of the machine?

Well that’s how I feel whenever my fingers don’t want to listen(when trying to push the buttons on my PS4 controller), when the drop things, or whatever I just can’t seem to grab something.

It doesn’t happen every time sometimes I don’t have any trouble picking up things and sometimes times my fingers just let go.

I hope that explanation made sense and you understand better dear reader
:-).
