Dear reader I just saw a close family friend defending Donald Trump ‘ s comments about senator John McCain . I personally believe that his comments are reprehensible and I can’t believe that someone would actually defend them.
She is a hard core Christian right wing voter/believer and she posts a lot of memes that are just wrong or completely out of context. NOTE I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT HER FAITH I MEAN THINGS ABOUT THE PRESIDENT AND DAY TO DAY ISSUES.
I want to correct her and I have but she takes it that I am doing so because I am not Christian(even though the topic has nothing to do about with faith what so ever).
I know that she is a good person and she has helped me a lot a years ago when I was going through a hard time(she wasn’t as hard core about her beliefs at the time) and I honestly still feel like I owe her for her kindness.
I am just venting because I honestly can’t believe that someone I care about would take Donald Trump seriously, I personally think he is and always will be a political joke and laughing stalk.

It’s possible to be a person of faith, a good person in face-to-face ethical situations, and still be willfully ignorant about other issues. I sympathize, having some intellectually challenged friends too. Her kindness is honorable, and she’s still wrong about Trump. Ultimately it matters little since he has so little chance of obtaining a nomination because the GOP wants to have a decent chance to win the election.
I know that a person can be a person of any faith and still be a great person. I just wish that she would see me sharing facts about a certain situation(s) as not trying to somehow undermine her faith especially since faith has nothing to do with the original subject. Thanks for the comment 😊.
