Dear reader I saw something on my personal FB feed about how people who love books never stop falling for them.
I know that it’s strange/weird to say however I personally believe that books and my love affair with the stories within them have been the longest “relationship” of my life.
Books have kept me busy, out of trouble(in school), gave me something to focus on whenever the pain from my CP(Cerebral Palsy) hits, and kept me company whenever I have been lonely(especially before I had this blog).
My favorite part about reading books is that the stories don’t judge me or my loneliness they just let me read them.
I hope my love affair with books lasts forever ♡.

I got my beliefs, my morals, my ethics from books. Not from my family. Not from my peers, but from my books. I learned to be strong, to be independent, to see past stupid things like race and class, and to have hope even when it seems hopeless. I love my books.
