Dear reader I’ve just finished reading “Chasing Embers” book #1 in the “Ben Garston” series by  James Bennett. I was blessed enough to be  approved by NetGally to receive a free ebook copy of this  book in  exchange for my honest review which is as follows:

Dear reader in my personal opinion if you enjoy reading the “Pax Arcana” series by Elliott James you’ll probably enjoy this book as well because it has some of the same world mythology in it as this book does.

In terms of this book it starts as if you’re reading a second book in a series so I did get lost in the beginning however almost all of my questions from the beginning of the book were answered towards the end of the book.

I personally did enjoyed the idea of the “the damsel in destress” saving herself and the dragon. Overall I personally rate this book a 4 and half/10. Happy reading dear :).
