Book Review: Glass Sword (Red Queen #2)

Dear reader I just finished reading “Glass Sword” book #2 in the “Red Queen” series by Victoria Aveyard. My uncle Timmy gave me a hardcover copy of the book as well as a soft-cover copy of the first book in the series. my review of the first book in the series if you want to check it out too. My personal review of the book is as follows:

Towards the end of the middle of the book “Mare” gets a lot darker, way more “the mission is the only thing that matters” I kind of understand it giving the circumstances however in my personal opinion “the mission” won’t matter if there isn’t anyone left to save in the end.

Does every guy who is around “Mare” Fall in love with her? Kinda of a sarcastic question, kinda not lol.

Most of the last half of the book dragged super slowly for me, I became interested again when “Mare’s” dad beggs her not to go back to where he lost his leg; In my personal opinion you can see how much he loves his kids and would give anything to stop them from making the same mistakes/getting hurt the same way he did.

I saw the ending of book coming. I have pre-ordered the 3rd book in the series because I have to know how it all ends. Overall I personally rate this book a 5 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader ?.

Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get considered by NetGalley and other places for future books ♡.
