Book Review: Twist (Dive Bar #2)

Dear reader I just finished reading “Twist” the second stand alone in the “Dive Bar” series by Kylie Scott. I was blessed enough to be approved by the publisher via Netgally to receive a free E-Arc of the book in exchange for my honest review of the book which is as follows:

I want to start this review off by saying that I haven’t read the first book in the series and I don’t think that you miss too much except if you wanted to know the backstory of “Joe” ‘s brother(who I’m pretty sure is the main character in the first book in the series).

I related to Alex (especially her personality) a lot. I really enjoyed the flow between her and “Joe”. I really appreciated the fact that it wasn’t “Insta Love” between them. I really liked how the formatting of the past and present was done, in my personal opinion it gave you the backstory between them without making you feel like you were losing any time in the present.

Some parts of the book were sad and I was annoyedwith “Star”, however The ending was one of the best to an adult romance books I’ve read in awhile. Overall I personally rate this book a 8 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader ?. Please like and share if you like it doing so helps me to get considered by NetGalley and other places for future books ♡.

PS. If you’re interested in possibly having me do a book review of your book please email me at or Tweet/DM me on Twitter at @BookNerd0486
