Book Review: Twelve Kings in Sharakhai: Bradley P Beaulieu

Dear reader I just finished reading Twelve Kings in Sharakhai book number one in the song of the shattered sands series by Bradley P. Beaulieu. I received a hardcover copy of the book as part of my August fiction book case from my subscription to BookCase.Club(I paid for it myself. If you want to get 15% off your subscription to BookCase.Club use the code Rachel15. I don’t get anything from you guys using it it’s just a thank you for your support dear reader). My personal review of the book is as follows:

I was confused by how the main plot line worked(beyond just the main character’s motivations) the time jumps back and forth between past/present plus the occasional point of view switches didn’t help either, however I really enjoyed the main character and the atmospheric writing, I felt like I was really there with the characters in the desert. My personal favorite scenes were the fighting scenes. I feel like if you enjoy storylines featuring a strong realistic female main character who can hold her own with or without a sword then I really think that you’ll probably really like this book. I personally rate it an 7 and half out 10. Happy reading dear reader ?. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews ❤.
