Book Review: Illuminae: Amie Kauffman: Jay Kristoff

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Illuminae” book number one in the “Illuminae Files” series my Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I have been hearing a lot about it and because it was on sale for a $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

For me personally this book reminded me of the Disney Channel movie “Zenon Girl of the 21st century” mixed with one of the worlds that “Marguerite” visits in book 2 of the Firebird trilogy by Claudia Gray.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the way book is formated (as a dossier of hacked files, IMs, emails, “photocopies” of paperwork, etc) however the characters and plotline were interesting enough to make me keep turning pages I also think the fact that I read it on my Nook tablet made it easier for me read.

I thought that the I’m sorry rose on page 122 (in my Nook edition) was really sweet ?.

The last half of the book is one hell of a wild ride. I thought I was going crazy with the AI for a sec and I didn’t see the ending coming at all. The last half book is the reason why I’m giving this book 8 and a half out of 10.

Happy reading dear reader ?. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get considered by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews ?.
