Book Review: The Burning World: Isaac Marion

Dear reader I just finished reading “The Burning World” book number two in the “Warm Bodies” series by Isaac Marion. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I had to know what happens next to “R” and “Julie”.  My personal review of the book is as follows:

In my personal opinion the first half of the book is a lot of info on how to deal with life and what makes me a person human(through a lot of the dialogue) set within a post-apocalyptic world.

From about the middle half of the book onwards it felt like (for lack of a better way of explaining it) I was experiencing the video game “The Last of Us” in book form. If you liked the game then I think that you should definitely give this book a chance.

Overall I personally rate this book a 8 and a half out of 10 in large part because I didn’t see the twist regarding “R” coming at all. Happy reading dear 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books as well as helping others to find my reviews 💜.

PS. If you’re interested in possibly having me do a book review of your book please email me at or tweet me on Twitter @BookNerd0486
