Book Review: Tricksters Choice: Tamora Pierce

Dear reader I just finished reading “Trickster’s Choice” book number one in the “Daughter of the Lionness” doulogy by Tamora Pierce. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because the original trilogy was one of the first that got me into reading as a kid and I wanted to revisit the world and some of the characters. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I really enjoyed the nostalgia factor. I personally feel like the majority of the book was set up for the second book and it didn’t really get interesting until the last chapter. I will be picking up the second book in the series as soon as I’ve finished posting this review because I feel like I can’t really judge this book until I read the second one.

In my personal opinion as far as storyline setup goes and some character development I rate this book a 4 and half out 10. I will do a total series review rating after I finished reading the second book. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books as well as helping others to find my reviews 💖.

*Updated on 1/17/18 to add that I finished reading the second book in the doulogy and I don’t personally feel that my personal opinion/feelings about the book are different enough from this review to make a separate review of it so I just wanted to add here that I finished reading the doulogy and I still stand by my statement that this doulogy would’ve been better as a TV series on a network like the CW.*
