Book Review: Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis: Anne Rice

Dear reader I just finished reading “Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis” book number #12 in the “Vampire Chronicles” by Anne Rice. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I love “Lestat” and I wanted to see what he was up to. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I want to start this review off by saying that I personally haven’t read every book in the series(I read the first few books in high school) I pretty much skipped the middle of the series and picked it back up when “Lestat” came back as a main focus again.

I feel like if you love the lore and finding out more depth of information about how the vampires got started then you’ll probably enjoy this book and be more interested in it.

I personally didn’t really fully care the story until around page 220-230 when I personally feel like the focus shifted back to “Lestat” and his emotions and thoughts which is what I personally read this series for.

I will say that tying in “Atlantis” to the vampire origin story is interesting to me as a concept however I personally felt that it was bogged down by adding “ET” elements mixed into it (I’m trying not to give too much away).

I am interested in seeing where “Lestat” goes from here. Overall I personally rate this book a 5 out of 10 because of how much I liked the character development and depth that I personally feel was add to “Lestat” within the book. Happy reading dear reader 😊.  Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💖.
