Book Review: Apex: Mercedes Lackey

Dear reader I just finished reading “Apex” book #3 in the “Hunter” trilogy by Mercedes Lackey. I picked up a hardcover copy of this book from Barnes and Noble when my dad took me to the store a few months ago. My personal review of the book is as follows:

For me personally I didn’t fully get into the storyline(for this particular book) until around page 160 from that point on I got to see more of the complexity and character growth in the main character and really know and understand fully what was going on storyline wise within the main plot line and what the stakes were for all of the characters.

I really wish that we as readers could have gotten to see more of how the fae work within the world of storyline as a whole, in my personal opinion a spin-off of showing their story would be really interesting.

I really enjoyed how the main character stayed true to herself and her morals no matter how shaky the world around her was, I also loved how you got to see her acknowledge/process/ and face her fears and doubts.

I still hope that this trilogy as a whole gets made into a movie or TV show on the CW Network. Overall I personally rate this book an 8 and a half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoy it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💖.
