Let’s Discuss HR 620

Note to reader: I didn’t personally make the video. If you want to know more about the video please click on the video and you’ll be taken to the YouTube page for it.

Dear reader I have talked to YungCripp (the person who made the video) on Twitter (@BookNerd0486 is my Twitter in case you want to say hi to me that way) and he is an amazing person.

If you have been on this journey with me for awhile you already know that I am better with writing than being on camera so I am SO thankful that he made this video since so many people pay more attention to video nowadays(Thanks again for staying on this journey with me dear reader your support means more to me then I can ever truly explain or thank you for).

If you don’t already know I am disabled from birth due to Cerebral Palsy(CP for short) and because of it I can’t walk at all so I have to use an electric wheelchair to get around.

I use the ADA(Americans with Disabilities Act) every time I go outside in public in way too many ways than I can explain here(we would be here forever and a day if I did). HR620 the bill that has already passed the house changes the ADA so that there are pretty much no inventives to put in ADA things (Ramps ect) in businesses especially builds that aren’t already built yet. We all know that company try to save money whenever possible.

I don’t even know how to effectively share the info info on how much this bill will affect disabled people if it passes. We can still stop it in the Senate if we have enough people behind us. Please consider tweeting and telling your friends and family to tweet their senator.

Also a lot of veterans are coming back disabled(so sad) and will need some ADA accessible things.

Disability can happen to anyone at any time. You never know if you or someone who know might need these things in the future.

Thanks so much for *listening* to me dear reader 😁

Tell me what you think.
