Book Review: Shatter: Aprilynne Pike

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Shatter” book #2 in the “Glitter” series by Aprilynne Pike. I picked up this book in hardcover edition from Barnes and because I had a coupon and I wanted to see what happens next. My personal review of is as follows:

I don’t want to give anything away in case you haven’t already read this far in the series yet, I do want to say that if you like the CW series “Reign” then I think that you’ll really enjoy this series. I also really enjoyed the complexity of the (in my personal opinion) morally gray main character.

The book really made me think about how far people would go to “save” people, I can’t really explain more without giving giving away the ending of the first book in the series.

I really related to some of the plot points brought up in regards to the concept because a lot of people have brought up the same type of themes in regards to trying to help me in regards to my life with my Cerebral Palsy.

I am excited to see what the next story arc of the series will be within the next book. This book felt to me personally like it pretty much ended the main “problem” of the book was dealt with. Overall I personally rate this book a 7 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoy it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💖.
