Book Review: Tratior’s Blade: Sebastian de Castell

Dear reader I just finished reading Tratior’s Blade book number one in the “Great Coats” series by Sebastian de Castell. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I do want start with a trigger warning a for scene telling in detail of a horse who was very very badly abused.

In my personal opinion this book has some of the most compelling, intense, and vivid scenes that I’ve read in a long time, the storyline grabbed my heart smashed it and put it back together again a few different times, I don’t want to give away anything incase I accidentally give away something important. I personally did have a hard time telling some of the main characters apart until around the last half of the book when they had more separate moments.

I personally feel that the story is a very good homage to “The Three Musketeers”, it really does in my personal opinion add it’s own spark and depth and stand out on it’s own. I am planning on picking up the next book in the series from the Nook store on my tablet as soon as I’ve finished posting this review. Overall I personally rate this book an 9 and half out 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊.  Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💖.
