Book Review: Tricks For Free: Seanan McGuire

Dear reader I just finished reading “Tricks For Free” book number #7 in the “InCryptid” series by Seanan McGuire. My dad bought it for me a few months back from Barnes and Noble. This post will include a separate review at the end of this post for the Aeslin mice novella that is included at the back of my edition of the book. My personal review of the book is as follows:

It was interesting to see what the behind the scenes of a theme park is like in my opinion it was an interesting setting. I was confused by the convenience of some plot points however it was explained in middle of the book.

After the main problem of the book was dealt with(for the most part) and I started to get more character development/backstory for the main character I started becoming real interested in where she will go from here, I think that the ending was one of the most compelling of the series as a whole, I personally think that she will end up getting her own spin off. Overall I personally rate this book a 6 out of 10.

My personal review of the Aeslin mice novella is as follows:

It was definitely cute seeing the two mice so in love(I can’t say more than that because of spoilers) I can’t wait to see what happens next for them. I appreciated getting to know more about “Sam”. Happy reading dear reader 😊.  Please like and share this review if you enjoy it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
