Book Review: A Certain Age: Beatriz Williams

Dear reader I just finished reading “A Certain Age” by Beatriz Williams. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

In my personal opinion this book felt like an old-fashioned soap opera. I personally found the majority of characters to be interesting and I found the plot twists interesting(I wish that they would’ve been followed through a bit more past the middle of the book) even though I personally saw them coming from pretty early on.

The ending of book was a let down for me (I can’t really explain why without giving away spoilers) in my personal opinion it felt like the storyline tied up the main plot line(The “who done it” aspect) in a way that felt very rushed and abrupt then threw in a few brief extra love scenes that I didn’t personally find to be satisfying. I feel like if you enjoyed watching the PBS series “Mr Selfridge” than you’ll probably enjoy this book. Overall I personally rate this book a 4 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊.  Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
