Book Review: One Summer Day In Rome: Mark Lamprell

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “One Summer Day In Rome” by Mark Lamprell. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

For me personally I didn’t care about/personally connect with any of the characters at all(Their storylines weren’t interesting or relatable to me), I think that way that book would shift between characters/prospectives didn’t help matters for me either.

The thing that kept me from giving up on the book was the parts where the “Heart of Rome” was talking/telling you about the history of Rome. I do feel personally that this book is an atmospheric novel, in the sense that it’s trying to give you a picture of a portion of the characters time within Rome.

I honestly don’t know how rate this book it just didn’t connect with me however I do feel like if you have traveled to Rome yourself it might make more sense to/connect with you(I did give it a 2/5 stars on Goodreads because I didn’t want to leave it unrated). Happy reading dear reader 😊.  Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved for more books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
