Book Review: Exploited: A Meredith Walters

Dear reader I just finished reading Exploited book number one in the “Zero Day” series by A. Meredith Walters. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

The concept of the book was interesting and I felt for the main character and what she was going through/trying to accomplish, the first part of the book pulled me in and gave me “Gone Girl” vibes then towards the middle half things smaller hints about plot twist would be thrown out in ways that to me personally felt way too convenient then right before the main cliffhanger at the end things started to fall apart in a (in my personal opinion) way too convenient way that I personally have a hard time believing that a main character who has been so careful about planning and guarding certain things/people in her life would allow/put herself into that situation without thinking that something like that could happen.

Once I as a reader am trying to come to terms with that I get confronted with another big plotline that doesn’t make sense(in my personal opinion) and seems very over the top. Overall I personally rate this book a 2 and half out 10. It was too over the top for me personally to want to continue with the series however I do think that if you like stories like “Gone Girl” you might want to check out this book out just to see if you’ll enjoy yourself trying to figure out the crazy. Happy reading dear ☺. Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get opportunities for more books 💜.
