Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished “Mechanica” book number one in the “Mechanica” series by Betsy Cornwell. I picked up the book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

For me personally I feel like I would’ve enjoyed the book a lot more if I was younger. The storyline kind of became predictable for me since I already know what happens in “Cinderella”, however I did enjoy how (in my personal opinion) the author added a “Beauty and the Beast” twist to “Cinderella” with even a few elements from “Snow White”. I also enjoyed the (for lack of a better way of phrasing) “steam punk” elements. Overall I personally rate this book a 6 out of 10.
