Dear reader I just finished reading “The Vicious Deep” book number one in the “The Vicious Deep” series by Zoraida Cordova. I was blessed enough to be given a soft-cover copy of the book from my uncle Timmy. My personal review of the book is as follows: The writing style and concept of the book reminded me personally of a 90s Disney Channel movie.

Certain situations that the main character would bring up annoyed me personally(related to him being a guy) which pulled me out of the storyline a few times however the storyline would pick up at certain times which pulled me back in however the last half of the book completely lost me. I do recommend checking out the book if you’re interested in mermaids. Overall I personally rate this book a 4 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊.
