Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History” by Katy Tur. I picked up a soft-cover edition of the book when I went my local Barnes and Noble store with my dad. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I want to start this review off by saying that I am a politics junkie(feed by the fact that my Cerebral Palsy makes it really hard for me to fall asleep hence why I am currently awake and writing this book review at 3:16 AM; and the cable news is always on, as well as the fact that I truly enjoy knowing what’s going on in the world especially when it surprises a lot of people because of my disability/wheelchair).

I admire Rachel Maddow and Katy Tur(especially for her coverage of the Trump campaign/presidency) so I picked up this book excited to learn more about the “inside baseball” so to speak within the framework of the campaign and this book definitely delivered what I was looking forward to reading about and more.

I personally feel like pepeople should have listened to Katy more from the start about why people like(d) Trump so that maybe we could have gotten better prepared/came up with ways to connect with them so that maybe we as a country could’ve avoided Trump as president.

If you read the book you’ll(in my personal opinion) see places where(in my personal opinion) the media/the RNC “dropped the ball” so to speak because they thought they could avoid certain issues because Trump would lose/drop out any minute now (in my personal opinion).

I personally admire Katy’s commitment to her principles/journalistic ethics as well as her desire to know/find out/report about what voters are thinking as well as her personal strength to stand up for herself. I definitely recommend reading this book if you’re looking for more information on how Trump happened/you’re a politics junkie like me. I personally don’t rate non fiction books.
