Dear reader I just finished reading “Becoming Marie Antoinette” book number one in the “Marie Antoinette” series by Juliet Grey, I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. I personally read this book as a stand alone. My personal review of the book is as follows:
I understand that this book is a fictionalized version of her personality and her life however I still found it interesting to see so many differences between the popular version of her and who she was in this story, How much she seemed to love/care about her husband(especially given the fact that within this telling of the story it was a marriage without physical intimacy, on her husband’s part) and her subjects really endeared her to me personally as a character.
I do recommend checking out this book/series if you’re a fictionalized tellings of her story especially her teenage/early years of her marriage. Overall I personally rate this book a 6 and a half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 😊.
