Dear reader I just finished reading “Heartstone” book number one in the “Heartstone” series by Elle Kathrine White. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was in the free section. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I was personally confused by (in my personal opinion) a few of the side characters seeming to blend together which made it harder for me personally to tell who was who however once I focused more on the main character and her love interest I fell in love with her bravery and willingness to do whatever she had to for those she loved. The love story felt very realistic to me personally especially given the time period it was set within.

I also really enjoyed the dragon and gnome elements. I highly recommend checking out this book if you’re a fan of Dragons/humans riding/bonding with them.

Overall I personally rate this book a 7 and half out of 10. I will be picking up the next book in series from the Nook store on my tablet after I’ve finished posting this review. Happy reading dear reader 😊.
