Book Review: Little White Lies: Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Dear reader I just finished reading “Little White Lies” book number one in the “Debutantes” series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

I picked up this book in hardcover edition from Barnes and Noble when I went my local store because it seemed interesting my personal review of the book is as follows:

I personally related a lot to Sawyer especially her relationship with her mom and having to take care of her emotionally (in my personal opinion). I enjoyed how much personality she has, how she kept true to herself(not being afraid to be sarcastic and tell it like it was no matter whom she was talking to at the time), and let herself bond with her mom’s family even though she hadn’t grown up around them, I can’t wait to see what she and “Lilly” get up to next.

As for the plot twist and the end I didn’t see it coming from I still feel like it had a few loose ends that hopefully will be explained in the next book in the series which I am looking forward to reading whenever it’s released.

I personally think that if you like teen TV dramas(like “Pretty Little Liars”) you’ll probably enjoy this book. Overall I personally rate this book a 7 and half out of 10.

Tell me what you think.
