Book Review: It Started with A Note: Victoria Cooke

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “It Started with A Note” by Victoria Cooke. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

It is a very sweet romantic contemporary that I would highly recommend checking out if you want a sweet romance about a woman trying to find the courage to do something for herself and live here life after her only child moves out to go to college.

Her first step in the journey was to take a vacation and honor her grandfather who died in WW1 . Along the trip she falls in love, I personally wish that she would’ve realized/accepted that she was in love sooner because I personally feel that the story dragged on at points because she kept stating:

“I don’t think that he likes me” to later on in the story arc “ok he likes me but here’s a million reasons why I can’t love or be with him” to “ok we love each other but distance is a problem” which is dealt with at the end but it just felt like the issues were used to stretch out the page count.

Overall I personally rate this book a 6 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
