Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Wrath Of The Goddess” book #5 in the “Goddess With A Blade” series by Lauren Dane. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I had to know what happens next with Rowan and the rest of the characters. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I was personally annoyed by the(in my personal opinion) time/scene jumps(Things tended to move forward/get explained quickly in some parts that made it hard for me personally to know what just happened/where I was within the time line of the storyline it’s self). I personally felt like the rest of the storyline flowed easily and made sense storyline wise especially within the framework and context of the wider story arc of the series as a whole.

I feel personally like certain aspects of how the vampires worked and the things that Clive was trying to do were pushed aside for Rowan however in my personal opinion the author wouldn’t really fully use the time because she would spend the majority of it talking about how Clive wasn’t doing things that he was supposed to because he was looking after Rowan or wanting to spend more time with her.

I loved getting to see more of Rowan and Clive’s love story and them individually and together adjusting to be married. They are one of my personal all-time favorite book couples and I can’t wait to see what happens next with them. Overall I personally rate this book a 7 and half out of 10.

Also as a side note I personally noticed that in the beginning of the book(at least for my Nook edition) whole chapters were repeated, which I think took up space that could’ve been used for other parts of the storyline. Happy reading dear reader 😊.
