Dear reader I just finished reading “The Queen’s Resistance” book number two in “The Queen’s Rising” doulogy by Rebecca Ross. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I had to know how everything ends. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I have to start this review off by saying that if you are a fan of “Game of Thrones” and are looking for something similar to it but in YA I personally highly recommended giving this doulogy a try. I don’t want give specifics of the storyline away especially since it’s the 2nd book.

I will say that I was holding my breath whilst reading at certain points especially towards the end. The book has a lot of very dark and gritty moments, however the way in which they were dealt with/addressed(in my personal opinion) shows so much strength, courage, kindness, forgiveness, and depth of character and especially how light can shine into and through even the darkest deepest of cracks to show the beauty and hope that life can give even in the darkest of times.

I love the romance even though I personally wish that we as readers could have seen them actually getting some time(on the page) to enjoy it. Overall I personally rate this book an 8 out of 10 and it’s probably going to be one of my favorite books of 2019. Happy reading dear reader 😊.
