Book Review: The Peculiars: Maureen Doyle McQuerry

Dearreader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “The Peculiars” by Maureen Doyle McQuerry. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was in the free section of the Nook store on my tablet. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I personally didn’t really understand a lot of the main character’s choices/motivations for the majority of the book especially since they would be going against herself or people like her or that she cared for as well as getting herself into more trouble(that she would always be saved from).

I did personally enjoy her personal growth at the end of the book. Overall I personally rate this book a 3 out of 10. I recommend checking out this book if you enjoy books like “Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children” by Ransom Riggs as this book is very similar in theme and subject matter. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
