Book Review: The Velvet Hours: Alyson Richman

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “The Velvet Hours” by Alyson Richman. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as:

This book(in my personal opinion) weaves and intertwined together all of the depth, complexity, and details of all the characters and their respective backstories (They’re are a few for lack of a better way of phrasing side characters that I personally wish would’ve gotten a little bit more said about them/how they ended up) seamlessly and in a way that makes everything seem more realistic and believable.

I definitely highly recommended checking out this book if you are a fan of stories like “The Book Thief”, It also gave me personally a lot of “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” vibes especially in the first half of the book. Overall I personally rate this book an 8 and a half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get future 📚s 💜.
