Venting: A stranger is surprised that I can read(7/18/19)

Note to Reader: The following post is ONLY about me taking about myself and my own personal thoughts/feelings about this situation. I am NOT trying to make anyone feel sorry for me. As always the ONLY person with a disability that I am ever talking for is myself.

Dear reader yesterday whilst I was playing roulette a man who was a Navy vet was playing next to me.

I told him thanks for his service. He said you’re welcome then he asked me how I knew that he was in the Navy. I said it says so on your hat.

He said “O. So you know how to read?”

I just smiled at him and said yes.

Dear reader it always surprises me even still after having Cerebral Palsy for 33 years now(my entire life, and also the reason why I am in a ♿) that so many people are still surprised by the things I can do.

Thanks again for “listening” to me vent. As always your support of me and my journey means the 🌎 to me 💜.

Tell me what you think.
