Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished “Eternal” book number one in the “Queen’s Alpha” series by W. J. May. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and it was on sale for $1.99. My personal review of the book is as follows:

In my personal opinion the storyline had some(for lack of a better way of phrasing it that doesn’t give away any spoilers) plot holes that deal with how certain fantasy tropes are used which made the storyline a bit difficult for me to get into in the beginning however as I kept reading I fell in love with the characters especially towards the end of the book, around the last 60 pages or so. I am curious about how the storyline continues even though I personally found the ending of the book to be seemly heading into yet another fantasy trope that I have read a lot of over the past few years. Overall I personally rate this book a 5 out of 10.

If you’re interested in easy(no overly complex plot) fantasy with all of the usual suspects(in fantasy) with a princess on the run from her killer brother I recommend you check out this book especially since it’s pretty cheap.
