Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Tangled Web” book number 3 in the “Deadly Curiosities” series by Gail Z Martin. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet when I was searching through the Nook store on my tablet for new books in series that I hadn’t read from in awhile and I was really excited when I saw this was available as I still remember the characters fondly. My personal review of the book is as follows:

As I said in my opening of how I got the book I was excited to see what the characters were up to and the story didn’t disappoint me in that regard. I loved the characters growth even though(in my personal opinion) the specific storyline elements of the plot felt like a way to “level up” Teag’s powers for coming books in the series, which at some point in the story arc felt a bit heavy handed and a bit of a stretch(Yes, I know that it’s a fantasy story.

Overall I personally rate this book a 7 out of 10 and I definitely plan to read further books in the series. I definitely recommend checking out this series if you are fan of urban fantasy.
