Book Review: Hamilton and Peggy: L.M. Elliott

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Hamilton and Peggy: A Revolutionary friendship” by L. M. Elliott.

I picked up this book in soft-cover edition from my local Barnes and Noble because I am enjoying reading stories about Hamilton/The Schuyler sisters especially given how much I enjoy the songs from the musical of the same name(even if I haven’t had the opportunity to see it yet). My personal review of the book is as follows:

It was definitely interesting to read more about Peggy(I know that the story is fictionalized) when so many stories talk about Eliza and and Angelica. I personally enjoyed her quick wit devotion to her family, her sisterly bond, and the cause of the Revolution.

I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re a fan of Hamilton related stories, especially if you’re looking for a Hamilton/Schuyler story that ends on a happier note. Overall I personally rate this book a 6 and half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader ☺. Please like and share this review if enjoyed this review to help me get future books and help others to find my reviews 💜.
