Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Night and Silence” book #12 in the “October Daye” series by Seanan McGuire.

I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I had to know what happens next with October and the rest of the crew. My personal review of the book is as follows:

As a fan of October and the rest of the crew I am personally thankful that certain major plot points turned out the way that they did (trying my hardest to avoid spoilers) if anyone deserves to have things work out in her favor for once it’s definitely October however from a storyline prospective I personally wish that certain plot points could’ve been given a bit more time to process themselves out.

This book has in my personal opinion one of the biggest WTF just happened plot twists I’ve read and as much as it still hurts my head to think about in the end it does work and I am interested in seeing how it effects the story arc of the series as a whole going forward. I personally rate this book a 8 and a half out of 10.

I highly recommend giving this series a shot if you haven’t already done so especially if you like urban fantasy. This series as a whole is one of my all time favorites. Happy reading dear reader ☺.
