Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Dragonshadow” book number two in the “Heartstone” series by Elle Katherine White. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I wanted to know what happens next, My personal review of the book is as follows:

I spent the majority of the book waiting for “Aliza” to figure out that she was *spoilers pregnant*(I do feel like I need to add a trigger warning for miscarriage, the scene dealing with it was pretty intense in my personal opinion, given that it’s a YA book) and waiting for the story arc to get back to the fantasy “Downton Abby” vibes of the first book in the series however it got a lot darker towards the middle and definitely gave me some “Game of Thrones” vibes at the end.

I am excited to what happens next in the series and I plan on buying the next book in the series soon. Overall I personally rate this book a 6 and a half out of 10. Happy reading dear reader ☺.
