Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Dark Souls” book number two in the “Sins Duet” doulogy by Karina Halle. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because I had to know how everything ends with the characters.

My personal review of the book is as follows:

I definitely had a hard time reading some of the really dark and intense scenes especially towards the end of the book when “Violet” was hurt/getting hurt, I also stopped reading the book(and read/finished reading other books) a few different times throughout the course of reading the book because I had to get myself ready for when stuff really hit the fan at the end which the author let’s you know is going to happen fairly early in the book.

Having said all of that I still love “Violet” and ” Vicente”‘s relationship even though it’s not perfect(no realistic love story ever is in my personal opinion) and for the most part I am happy with the ending. Overall I personally rate this book a 7 and half out 10 and I definitely recommend reading this series if you have a soft spot for “bad boys” hehe 😊.
