Book Review: Head Above Water: Hailey Edwards

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “Head Above Water” book number two in the “Gemini” series by Hailey Edwards. I picked up this book in paperback edition from Amazon(I paid for it myself) because I wanted to see what happens next with the characters. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I really liked the characters, the main storyline as a whole for the series in general so far, the pacing, and the romance.

The one thing that confused me personally was how certain scenes, situations, and sometimes overall plotlines flowed together/connected with each other(some things felt a bit rushed to me personally especially towards the end, I can’t really explain why without giving away major plotline spoilers).

I really hope that we as readers get to see more the romantic plotlines on the page.

I did pick up the next book in the series already from Amazon before I finished reading this one completely because I liked where it was going and I wanted to make sure that I had the next book in case Amazon had shipping issues because of the covid19 situation. So I will be starting the next book soon.

Overall I personally rate this book a 6 and a half out of 10. I definitely recommend checking out the first book in series if you ever wondered how a Fae and werewolf would fit together.

Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💖.
